Instructor Conflicts

The same instructor assigned to two sections in Education (EU) - Fall 2026 with overlapping days and times in different rooms - i.e. the instructor would need to be in two places at once. Two sections in the same room at the same time are treated as one class cross-listed under two CRNs, not a conflict. To check a different semester or college, change the selectors in the sidebar.

Also excludes: non-classroom formats (independent study, thesis, internships, etc. - an advisor legitimately supervises several of these in parallel), sections with unreadable meeting data, and "Staff" as an instructor (a placeholder for "unassigned," not a real person who can double-book). Instructor names are scraped as free text (e.g. "L. Anderson") - USF's own site doesn't expose a unique instructor ID, so two genuinely different people who happen to share a last name and first initial would incorrectly appear as one "instructor" here. Cross-check the department before treating a result as a real conflict.
