Program
Oversees curriculum, scheduling, accreditation; coordinates program operations.
Provides input on field alignment; not responsible for curriculum.
Advises students on admission and program requirements; ensures DegreeWorks reflects progress, represents college programs at Admission events.
Course Scheduling Support marketing of the program Recruitment to the program Enrollment management in courses Supports student administration through preparation of tuition waivers processing course permits, maintaining student files and records, conducting graduation checks, and fulfillment of other student-related administrative requirements. Provides support for instruction through administration of course syllabi, class materials, exams, course evaluations, processing course schedules, maintaining course inventory, etc.
Student Support
Organizes program-wide initiatives; aligns coursework with fieldwork.
Mentors/evaluate students in placements; provides feedback.
Provides success strategies, refers students to campus resources, supports retention efforts, tracks and monitors progress toward degree, implements strategies to support student success metrics.
Course Permits Coordinate meetings with student/faculty for PSC
Experiential Learning
Secures placements, partnerships; aligns experiences with standards.
Supervises students in placements; resolves field issues.
Confirms student eligibility for placements and communicates; identifies cocurricular opportunities for development.
Data & Accountability
Prepares reports for accreditation, program review, assessment.
Shares field data with coordinators; supports evaluation.
Documents advising appointments, tracks retention, academic progress, 4-yr/6-yr graduation; contributes data to reporting.
Enrollment Completion of program requirements Enters information into BANNER/OAS student database system.
Communication
Facilitates meetings; communicates with partners and faculty.
Acts as liaison between field sites and program; shares student progress.
Communicates policies, deadlines, progress benchmarks, opportunities; participates in faculty meetings.
Communicates on behalf of program as appropriate. Communication of course schedule to advisor.
Overlap & Coordination
Coordinate with Advisors on policies and Supervisors on placements.
Coordinates with Coordinators on placements and Advisors on readiness.
Coordinates with Coordinators on pathways and Supervisors on student progression.
Supports department or college recruitment and admissions process. Communicates with students regarding academic program prerequisites and course selection. Notifies students with substandard academic grades and issues. Schedules appointments and prepares student files for advising.
